If you want a taste of Casablanca, or Rabat, or Fez in Jerusalem, look no further. HaMotzi is your place.

This Moroccan inspired restaurant is a fantastic and delicious fusion of Moroccan flare, Sephardic style and ambience and blended tastes inspired by chefs from the mother land that offer tastings that make you feel like you crossed the border.

I have not had anything bad here. Some of my faves include the veal, sweet bread cigars! Yep. Cigars and sweetbreads! the Mitzi MeUrav is delicious and special to the location. The Moroccan doughnut with duck liver is so unique and interesting. I am fond of the bullet that is loaded with spices and meat and flash fried. Yum.

You would be remiss to not try the tabouleh salad here. When in Fez……Also, the fried cauliflower with tehina is fantastic.

This is a unique restaurant with fantastic flavors mixed together. Make a reservation and do not miss this eatery, especially if you are adventurous with your palate.
